Jo'De Boy-Gods Prophet

If the future is truly in the hands of our youth, then we'll be alright in this case. BDE affiliate Jo'De Boy is a young gun who shows much promise with his latest project Gods Prophet. Majority of this LP's soundscape is provided by producer AVEVO and Jo'De carries his own with witty lyrics and multiple rhyme schemes. Checkout records "False Guidance", "Bring The Stars Out" & "The Lies I Trusted". This project is a good start for what seems to be a solid beginning for the rhyme spitter. Let's see where this  young 'prophet' leads us in the future! Follow @jodeboy

Savvy-Book of Savvy

www.livemixtapes.com

As predicted, Jackson, MS. emcee Savvy is taking this year by storm! (See The Power 15 Jan. 2015) Opening for 2 Major Acts within the past 2 weeks (Big K.R.I.T. & Kevin Gates) and recently the recipient of the 'Camp of the Year' award from this year's 1st Annual Hip Hop Awards held in Jackson in January. This doesn't come as a surprise as Savvy [along with his camp CME] has strategically been waiting patiently to place their stamp on the Hip Hop scene. So what's the next phase? Enter the Book Of Savvy. This 10 piece is simply an appetizer until The Bottom Line drops which the release date is TBD. Powered by DJ Young Shawn, this project will have you locked in as it brings a sound that is nostalgic to the early days of Cali's Too Short, Memphis greats Eightball & MJG & other Southern Legends. Songs that highlight this project are "New Day", "With or Without" & "Here We Are" which displays Savvy breaking down the plight of most struggling artists within their local realms. Overall, there is something everyone can enjoy on this joint. Take it all in & soak up some game! Follow @savvylildaddy
